Description
The facilities management (FM) company currently adopts
a reactive lift maintenance approach, where the repair
technician is notified to rectify specific faults, based on fault
codes obtained from the lift monitoring device (LMD) after
they happen. With additional telemetry data collected from
ongoing installations of sensor box development and data
acquisition systems, the FM company has begun exploring
predictive approaches, using more than a years
accelerometer data and historical data on fault codes, for
600 lifts.
